Monday Minutes: User Permission to Delete Borrowers
In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie show off a new enhancement that allows administrators to control, at a more fine-grained level, which users may delete patron records. Administrators will now see a new delete_borrowers user permission. This new enhancement which will be available in 21.11 is driven from [15788] Split borrowers permission into create/edit and delete permissions.
Staff Permissions
- Access your staff account
- Click on the More Dropdown Menu
- Select Set Permissions
- Select Show details on the right of Add, modify and view patron information (borrowers)
- Notice that there is an option to Delete patrons (delete_borrowers)
- Click the appropriate options and Save
